The signs of low self-worth or as some call it self-esteem could include: 

  • a fear of failure
  • constantly focusing on your weaknesses and not recognising your value
  • people pleasing
  • lack of boundaries
  • over apologising

Causes of low self-worth can include

  • bullying
  • negative childhood experiences
  • trauma
  • abuse 
  • belief systems
  • society (social media, media)

The benefits of developing your own worth

  • you don’t give up – failure provides the opportunity to try again
  • you make better decisions
  • you sleep better
  • you build strong friendships/relationship
  • improved mental and physical health

It is said that approximately 85% of people suffer from low self-esteem at some point or another.

With that in mind here are my top self-worth meditations. If you feel called to start healing your worth choose 1 healing modality and practice it for at least a month. 

Healing is an ongoing process, always be kind to yourself.
